Today is the official UK publication day of my new book, Super-Cute Felt Animals. Yay!
It's available from Amazon UK, Amazon USA and from many other bookshops... and I'm also selling some signed copies over in my Big Cartel shop.
To celebrate the launch of the new book, I'm also selling signed copies of my first book - Super-Cute Felt - for the bargain price of £9.99.
Super-Cute Felt Animals is divided into 6 chapters: In the Woods, On Safari, Under the Sea, On the Farm, In the Garden & At Home... in each chapter you can learn how to make lots of mini felt animals that fit in the palm of your hand. I keep changing my mind about which little felt animals are my favourite! I am so pleased with how they all turned out.
Each project has step by step instructions and clear, colour illustrations and there's also a guide to all the materials, equipments and techniques you'll need at the start of the book. Oh, and all the templates are full size so you can trace them straight from the book and start sewing.
I've also included a "gift ideas" section with tips for using the designs in the book to make things like brooches and mobiles. I've already made a couple of brooches for myself so I can wear my favourite animals on my cardigans this autumn/winter... including this budgie (parakeet).
You can read a couple of early reviews of the book here and here :)
When I was working on the designs for this book I had a LOT of ideas for things I wanted to make and there ended up being just too many to fit into one book. So this means I've got some extra projects to share with you guys, hurrah!
So, starting on Monday (16th September), I'll be sharing over a dozen felt tutorials here on my blog... sharing a few projects a week for the next few weeks. They're all little felt things (animals and other bits and pieces) that were designed to coordinate with the other projects from Super-Cute Felt Animals so if you buy the book you can mix and match these extra designs with the ones in the book.
I hope you'll enjoy the free projects and that if you buy the book you'll enjoy that too!
