A New Birdie

This little birdie is a bit of a departure from my usual subject of British garden birds...
... a bright red cardinal stitched last night while I watched some rubbish telly.

He was a special request from a customer, but I'm thinking about making some more to add to my shops as I think he's quite a cutie!

So sweet! I love Cardinals. There were a few in the tree today. The females are lovely too, more subdued, but beautiful earthy colors.

Really cute. If you add them to your shop I would definitely buy one. My grandmother is a bird lover and cardinals are one of her faves.

I was going to ask you to do a Cardinal. Its the official bird of Kentucky. We have nine bird feeders in the back yard. Many Cardinal visitors.
