Blue, Blue, Blue and More Blue

This week I've been working on a project involving lots of blues.

I've been choosing blue ribbons...

... cutting & sewing with blue felt, and pinning things with pins from that lovely blue tin...

... and shopping for blue threads (and more ribbons).

Even my relaxing- evening-knitting is blue at the moment!

The Last Sky Blanket Square

Amazingly, given how grey and rainy it's been this past week or so, the last square of my sky blanket is a blue and white one:

Christmas day was mostly grey and wet, but the skies cleared as midday approached and I got my wish for a bit of blue to finish the blanket. Hurrah!

Such a busy weekend!

I've been catching up with a lot of odd bits of admin, and getting a couple of projects finished for a looming deadline. I wish I could show you what I've been making but alas, sometimes I must keep secrets.

I've also been sorting out a big supplies order that arrived on Friday - including making up lots of colourful packs of felt, and tying them into bundles with pretty ricrac.

Ah, how I love ricrac...
