Robins + Sunflowers

I have a very long list of designs to re-stock before the "busy" season begins again in the autumn. It seems a long way away now but hand sewing takes time and summers always fly by!

Currently in my wip box: lots of robins and sunflowers. The birds always look a bit strange until they get their eyes and beaks added...

UPDATE: My robin and sunflower designs are now available as sewing patterns! Visit my shop to see all my printable PDF patterns

Still cant get my head around the fact that you hand cut all your pieces. They look identical, even when I do a simple thing like an egg cosy one piece is never the same size as the next piece! x

Rosa Lily - I've had a lot of practice! I also use small embroidery scissors for cutting, which gives you a lot of control over the shapes you make :)

Ruby Reloved - thankyou! x

marysza - don't they?! they look almost abstract until they have faces

Callie - I do it in bits here and there, I find it very relaxing especially if I've just spent a few hours doing something like my accounts :D
