Sample Sale Today!

I'm having a "just in time for Christmas" sample sale, selling some recently stitched project samples at bargain prices.

The sale starts at 11am (GMT) today, over at lauralupinsells. Please bear with me while I get everything listed! Leave a comment on anything you'd like to buy and I'll reply as soon as possible, then we can sort out payment via PayPal.

I'll be listing dove ornaments, a robin brooch, animal masks, gingerbread men ornaments (tutorial coming soon!), fox and badger brooches, and some embroidered pieces, too. There are a few items still available from my previous sale, as well. If it's not marked sold it's still available :)

The UK postage shown for each item is for it posted solo. I'll combine postage for items bought together - you can send an approximately shoebox sized parcel weighing up to 2kg by 2nd class post for just £3 in the UK, so most packages won't cost more than this to send (yay!). If you're elsewhere in the world, let me know your country and I'll check the postage for you.

Bargain Craft Books + a Sample Sale

My parents' copy of the Book People catalogue popped through their door this morning...

... and look what's inside!

The new edition of my first book, Super-Cute Felt, is currently available from The Book People at the totally bargainous price of just £4.99.

I make very little money from these kinds of discount sales but I always think it's important to share them with you guys when I spot them, because... well, who doesn't love a bargain craft book?

At this price you could totally buy a copy for all your friends and relations this Christmas, haha.

Pompom Packs and other New Stuff in my Shop

I added a few new things to my Etsy shop this week.

First up: lots of fluffy pompoms!

 

After abandoning my sky pompom project I tried to think of something to make with all the pompoms and totally failed to come up with anything - partly because, I think, I was still feeling a bit "ugh" about having abandoned my grand pompom-ing plans. So I've decided to send them out into the world to find new homes. Once all the pompoms have sold, I'll donate the total listing price to charity so something positive can come out of my otherwise failed project.

I've listed them in packs with some co-ordinating yarn so you can use them for gift wrapping (pompoms make great gift toppers!) but you could (of course) use them for any crafty project you can think of. Click here to see all the pompoms in my shop.

Also new in my shop this week...

... I've added a bargain bundle of ribbons to my crafty destash sale. Just £5 for 30 x one metre pieces of assorted ribbon and trim!

 

... and I've listed the two swan brooch samples I stitched for this tutorial. You'll find both mini swan brooches in my sample sale section along with lots of other bargain felt brooches.

Bargain Felt Bundles

I've added some bundles of "not quite perfect" felt squares over in my shop.

Each pack is made up of squares that have a small mark on them / are smaller than the usual size / have some other imperfection which means they don't meet my usual quality standards... so I've listed them at a bargain price. Each bundle of 40 squares is just £12 instead of the usual £21.

I've also added some more "destash" listings to the Craft Supplies section of my shop, including lots of cute buttons.

New Colour Trends & Lots of Bargains

One of the bundles of felt squares I sell in my shops is called "Colour Trends" as it includes shades I've selected to reflect current colour trends in fashion. The pack previously contained colours based on 2012's fashionable colours but - obviously - 2012 will be over soon!

So, I've updated the pack to include colours for spring/summer 2013...

.... mmm... lots of lovely bright colours...

Each bundle includes 20 wool blend felt squares, and comes neatly tied with ribbon. They're available from my main shop, or from my Etsy or Folksy shops.

I've also added some bargain "not quite perfect" items over in my Etsy shop...

... some packs of giant buttons, which are still awesome big buttons but which don't meet my normal quality standards when selecting stock for sale...

... and a few copies of my book, Super-Cute Felt which have small flaws (e.g. a bit of damage to the cover) so I'm selling them at £8 instead of the usual £12.99.

And I've added a whole bunch of older designs from my range (felt brooches, animal masks, flower headbands, etc) to the clearance SALE sections in all my shops...

I've got a whole bunch of new projects planned for 2013 and I need to make some space!

You can find lots of sale bargains in my Big Cartel shop, my Folksy shop and my Etsy shop - available stock varies slightly between the shops but Etsy currently has the widest selection, including lots of items under £5 (hurrah!).
