80s Child

Earlier this month Etsy published a cute article about sticker collections, and it inspired me to dig out my old sticker book and have a nostalgic flick through it...

Some pages are now almost empty (thanks to being plundered over the years to decorate letters, birthday cards and other things) but it's still got plenty of treasures!

  1. WOW I had that sticker album too! Must come from also being an eighties child. The furry teddy bear ones with the little red hearts have brought 1993 rushing back.
I hope I still kept hold of it like you. Those stickers should be used!

  2. So cute!

    I love the owls!
My little boy is also exited about stickers and I have to hide them if I want to keep them!

  3. Oh wow, such an 80s thing! I had dozens of sticker books but I was the kind of kid who kept stuff for best so loads were never used (I'm still a bit like that with pretty notebooks!)

  4. I remember having one of these. I don't know what happened to it. I used to buy the stickers from the local toy shop. I vividly remember those fuzzy teddy bear ones.

  6. This brought memories flooding back for me too! I had the little kittens.. and maybe the teddies too as they look familiar. You know, they still make these stickers, I saw the exact same kitten stickers in a toy/stationery shop a few months ago!

  8. Oh my gosh - those fuzzy teddies. I LOVED them. I don't think I even took them out of their packet. Thanks for the total flashback. Seems like those little bears might be shaping up to be the poster-children of 80s stickers!

  10. I wish I still had my sticker album. My favorites were the "puffy" stickers.

  11. I'm glad it's brought back some memories! I vividly remember where I bought lots of these, and which ones I treasured (those heart teddies were definitely never going to be swapped!).

I've got my eraser collection in a box somewhere, too... I'm such a hoarder! :D

  12. Ahh love it!!
I had those same cat stickers in the 1 photo!!
I remember getting the books with the waxed pages because I was so worried about wasting the stickers and never being to find the same ones!
You've inspired me to dig out mine!
