I've got some very exciting news to share today (a secret I've been keeping for a few months now) ... some of my felt projects are in a book! Fa la la la Felt is the first e-book published by Lark Books and is available to buy HERE.
It contains 45 festive felt projects by a whole assortment of crafters - including a stocking and 3 ornaments (a star, a gingerbread house and some baubles) designed by me.
That's my stocking, on the left:
I'll hopefully have some images of my projects to share with you next week - the photos I took myself before I posted them were unfortunate victims of our hard drive crash!
UPDATE:
Lark are offering a freebie to celebrate the launch of the book... a free pdf of the adorable mushroom ornaments (above) by Cathy Gaubert. I can't upload the file here on blogger but you can now download the pdf from Lark Books.
Plus: check out the awesome fish ornaments designed for the book by Lisa of Lil Fish Studios.
Wonderful and well-deserved - congrats :)

Sorry to hear you've been getting error messages, Mariona. Perhaps the support staff at Zinio may be able to help you out?
I'm sooooooooo happy I checked your blog tonight! I purchased the FA LaLa felt book and LOVE it. This is definitely my lucky day. Thanks for sharing. Lynn
ReplyDeleteMariona, I'm the Lark editor for this book. Have you had any luck buying it yet? I was having trouble this weekend on my home computer but it seems to be working now. Please let me know if you are still having trouble. This is our very first experiment with eBooks, and I'm just crazy about how this book turned out. I was suprised by how easy it is to download and use the PDF once you buy it (of course, I AM a bit biased...).
ReplyDeleteHi, Kathy, nice to meet you! Thanks so much for publish this ebook, I'm from Spain and it's not easy to find interesting material about felt or much other crafts ;-) The ebooks are our best option!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteAt last I could purchase the book!!!! Don't know where the problem was...
Thanks so much again, kisses from Barcelona to all of you!!!!
My stomach is all quivery with joy over your work. So inspiring! I've seen you on Etsy before but tonight I just Googled Christmas felt ornaments and found you again. I'm so glad cause the book looks great and I have 5 stockings I'm trying to figure out how to embelish. I'll probably be ordering it. Thank you again!
ReplyDeleteOoooh. I'm "flipping" through the pages already! Soooo lovely. Thank you!
