Just a quick snapshot today - I've been tidying up the shelves where I keep my "everyday" crafty supplies and am feeling very proud of how tidy they look. This is quite a rare occurrence as I'm normally too busy sewing to bother tidying up!
HAHA, I know how it is. I totally call mine "organized chaos" but it's so true. You should've seen my table, shelves and crates during Christmas this past year. Good grief!
Doesn't it feel good to be organized? My craft area goes from neat to diaster and back to neat; steadily evolving! Right now it's a mess . . . but that can be a good sign if it means that work is getting done.
Kro designs - yes, the brown drawers are by ikea. I've had them for so many years I don't know if they make that exact design anymore but I know they sell little wooden drawer units :)
Oooh how lovely! *jealous* I have some wooden drawers and they hardly ever shut cos they are so rammed and disorganised. Even if they do shut they have yards of thread hanging out of them! I haven't seen my sewing table in weeks!
Being organized is so important...sometimes it's so difficult to find the tools I need to work with. Good job getting all your housekeeping out of the way -- I need to get on that!
Oooh I'm so jealous...been meaning to do my organising for ages and ages. x

ReplyDeleteI must get those brown drawers up on top! Judging by the white boxes below they must be Ikea...right?

ReplyDeleteI'm with Vicki in the 'jealous' camp - both of the quantity and the tidiness levels of the crafting corner!

It's changed a bit since then, but here's an earlier annotated version if you're interested ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/bugsandfishes/2775997102
ReplyDeleteI'm awestruck! I've been making some weak attempts at organizing, but I'll never get to tht level, oh well...
