Winter Weather

The UK is in the middle of a cold snap at the moment - we've not had much snow round here but it's been sooo cold! (I am actually typing this while wearing a very fetching woolly hat).

I've been staying indoors wrapped up warm as much as possible, but I just had to brave the cold yesterday to take some photos as everything was covered in the most amazing hoar frost, like waking up in Narnia:


It's much milder today (and much less foggy) so the world looks a lot less sparkly and magical - I'm very glad my hastily snapped pics turned out okay!

    oh that's pretty! Very festive ^_^ Stay warm, it's about 21F here or approx. -6C lol. Hope it's not that cold over there yet.

    It's been -8C and -9C some mornings here this week! We're not used to this here in the UK (especially not in my single-glazed flat!)

    Oh I wish it was Narnia, we could get back into the wardrobe and close the door on the snow!

    it's only -3 here currently, although last week in our 'cold snap' we had about 5 inches of snow and it was about -8. i love the cold. :)

    really pretty pictures, the spiderweb in the last one looks like a tornado spinning its way over your garden, hehe. xx

    I love the beauty of winter, just not the reality of it! I hate being cold, my slow thyroid really struggles in winter... but your pics are so well shot, they're really fantastic! Thanks!

    Very jealous of your folks with warm weather! The cold is very pretty, but brr! I'd like it to warm up a bit now please... it's going to be an amazing 4C at the weekend, I'm so excited :D

    Beautiful pics. You have it colder over there than here in Canada right now. Usually that is not the case. Enjoy the beauty though
