I'd never used that before and I LOVED it, I definitely need to try to design something using it. That's so funny about your sweater, I think this is a universal crafter problem! xx

Ariadne - ooh, good luck making yours! :)

Bugs and Fisheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06973019615558057522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3402767592335548328.post-18222470645718939152019-01-23T19:30:04.833+00:002019-01-23T19:30:04.833+00:00Oh I love them all! But I bought them only as downloadable patterns not kits so now I have to find the proper felt fabric. That's amazing. They are so much more complex than most felt ornaments, and from reading your article I can see that they are so intricate because they are so large. I thought they were much smaller from the photos. I'm curious about the Scandinavian mitten - it looks like cross stitch on the felt? Did you have to use waste canvas?

Maybe you could string them together somehow and make a garland to hang for display next Christmas? I know what you mean; I was wearing a sweater for a while that I loved, and everyone kept congratulating me on making it, since they knew I was crafty - only for me to have to constantly explain, thank you but I don't knit LOL It was awkward at the time and I stopped wearing it for a while, until I realized that I truly loved the sweater. Now I wear it, happily. Maybe part of your feelings is that your tastes have changed somewhat, and you don't love them all the same? If that's the case, maybe you could keep a few you really love and gift the rest? Three or four wouldn't be so overwhelming to display either. Congratulations on finally getting them all finished!Aurelia Eglantinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17998483816892542367noreply@blogger.com
